This was June 1st, 2012. The pictures aren't in the right order, as her class numbers were done first (the sang a little song with actions and then played a group song on the piano and keyboards). Then Megan was the first of her class to play her solo piece. Because she chose such an easy piece to play, her teacher had her play it from memory to challenge her a little more. She did an amazing job. We will put up the video of it as soon as possible -- we need to load our actual digital camcorder onto our computer yet! So, her first year of piano lessons have been over for just about a month, and I am already looking forward to the fall to see how much she grows and learns more in the world of music!
